Lyndhurst is the smaller of our two residential homes. Situated opposite the Goring playing fields and bowls pavillion.
Lyndhurst is a small twenty bed residential home for the elderly.
At Lyndhurst we understand that each resident has unique needs and preferences. That's why we create individualised care plans to ensure that every resident receives the care and attention they deserve.
Our residential home offers private rooms with comfortable amenities to make our residents feel at home. We have a mixture of single, double & private patio access rooms. All our rooms are unique, and no two are the same. We also have two lounges for socialising and relaxing.
We offer a wide range of services including 24-hour residential care for residents with and without dementia, alongside respite care. Our goal is to provide our residents with the highest level of care and comfort in a smaller family style home.

At Lyndhurst, we understand that each resident has unique needs and preferences. That's why we've partnered with Nourish to create individualised digital care plans to ensure that every resident receives the care and attention they deserve, and remains up to date.
Hear what our residents and their families have to say about our home. We take pride in the care we provide, and our close partnership with friends & family to strive to make our residents feel like family and at home.
Has made my mother in-law feel like she is at home. Made the transition from her own home to a Care home easy.
We are very happy with the care that my father bill Pocock is having at the care home, I think all the careers do a exceptional job, excellent
Such a warm & welcoming home where our Nan has been so well cared for over the past 8 years. Cannot recommend Lyndhurst highly enough. Thank you for all you do.
My brother is well cared for and contented. The atmosphere is always welcoming and happy. The staff without exception are kind, sensitive, thoughtful and cheerful, always ready with a joke, keeping the resident's individual needs in mind. Every day there is something different done to stimulate and
keep minds and bodies as active as possible. Our family is indebted to them all.
The staff go way beyond to care for the residents, when visiting they always offer you tea/coffee, they take great pride in their work, the residents take part in the many activities offered by the staff... whenever I arrive to visit my husband they are very understanding, I can’t thank them enough for the care they have given my husband.
My mother (96) was very well cared for at Lyndhurst by the manager and her team. Mum, with her dementia, could be difficult at times but she was always treated with great care and respect. She was there for the last six months of her life and I'm confident that she was as comfortable as possible. She
was always very complimentary about the food! Her passing was dealt with with the utmost attentiveness and devotion. Thoroughly recommended.
