We hosted the Great British Care Cycle Relay this week, as part of the national Care Home Open Week. Alongside hosting some visitors, family, friends & neighbours, we were joined by the Championing Social Care Cyclists, who stopped off at The Grange for lunch, refreshments & a well deserved break before heading off to end Day 4 in Wokingham.

We were fortunate with weather to be outside with entertainment, a buffet & an ice cream van.

The Great British Care Cycle Relay is a monumental annual cycling event that aims to raise awareness of social care in the United Kingdom.

As part of Care Home Open Week, the relay covers 300 miles from Manchester to London, bringing together colleagues, supporters, and families to promote the incredible care services at the heart of every community. Starting in Manchester, participants pedal through picturesque landscapes as they fly the social care flag high and visit care communities along a route through Cheshire, north Wales, Shropshire, Birmingham, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and finally into London.
