Exciting Upgrades Underway at Lyndhurst Care Home

We are thrilled to share some exciting news from Lyndhurst Care Home! As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the living experience for our residents, we have begun a significant upgrade to our facilities. This summer, we embarked on a project to replace our existing wooden-framed conservatory with a modern, insulated extension that will offer greater comfort and energy efficiency.

The new extension has been carefully designed with our residents’ comfort and enjoyment in mind. One of the key features is the inclusion of large windows that will provide uninterrupted views of our beautiful garden. We believe that this connection to nature is incredibly important for our residents, and the new design ensures that they can fully appreciate the changing seasons and the tranquil outdoor scenery from the comfort of indoors.

In addition to the large windows, the extension will feature a solid roof with skylights to bring in even more natural light, along with upgraded lighting to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The improved thermal efficiency of the new structure will ensure that our residents can enjoy this space comfortably throughout the year.

The building work is being expertly managed by Castle Windows in Newbury, and we are pleased to report that it is progressing smoothly. Our dedicated team of builders is working diligently to ensure that the project is completed by October.

While the construction is underway, we have temporarily relocated activities that would have taken place in the conservatory to our front lounge. This cosy and inviting space has been set up to ensure that our residents continue to enjoy their usual routines and activities without interruption.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time of improvement. We are confident that the new extension will greatly enhance the living experience at Lyndhurst Care Home, providing a beautiful and comfortable space for our residents to relax and enjoy, with stunning views of the garden.
